Add NokSecure to Your Browser

Two 30-second setups that let you check any website or link from wherever you are — no extension, no app store, no install.

1. The NokSecure Button

One click checks whatever page you're on. Works in every browser.

Drag the green button below onto your bookmarks bar. Then, on any suspicious page anywhere on the web, click it — NokSecure opens in a new tab with that site's verdict already loading.

Check with NokSecure

↑ Drag me to your bookmarks bar

On mobile, or if dragging doesn't work: copy the code below, create a new bookmark manually, and paste it as the address.

javascript:(function(){window.open('https://noksecure.com/safe-browsing?url='+encodeURIComponent(window.location.href),'_blank');})();

2. Address Bar Shortcut

Type nok then any link to check it instantly.

  1. Open your browser settings and find Search engines (Chrome/Edge: Settings → Search engine → Manage search engines → Add).
  2. Name it NokSecure and set the shortcut/keyword to nok.
  3. Paste the URL below as the query address, then save.
https://noksecure.com/safe-browsing?url=%s

Now typing nok suspicious-site.com in your address bar runs a NokSecure check instead of visiting the site.

What this does and doesn't do

✓ It does

  • Check any page you're on with one click
  • Return instant verdicts for known domains
  • Check every link inside an email at once
  • Work in every browser, with no install

✕ It doesn't

  • Block a page before it loads
  • Show warnings on other websites
  • Monitor your browsing in the background

Automatic blocking requires a browser extension. Until then, the button above is one click away from the same answer.
